Case # 1 – Baby Born in KSA

Here comes the step by step guide about how to get Iqama for Newborn Baby 2020 if your baby born in KSA hospital. All you need is to follow the guide steps one by one.

  • First of all, you need to get the Birth Certificate of the baby from the hospital.
  • Now you need to book an appointment from the Baby Birth Registration office. You can do this online with the help of Absher Online Portal.
  • Here you need to submit the following documents to get the birth certificate in Arabic which is considered as an official Birth Certificate of the baby.
List of Required Documents
    • Iqama of parents. (Make one copy of both father & mother)
    • Passport of Parents. (Make one copy of both father & mother)
    • Birth Certificate of Baby issued from the hospital.
    • Print out of appointment booked at Absher website.
  • Apply for the Passport of Baby as early as possible from your concerned embassy.
  • Now you have to pay all dependent fees from the time of birth.
  • Now you need to get Jawazat appointment. You can get the Jawazat appointment from the Absher online portal.
List of Required Documents at Jawazat
    • Original & copies of father & mother Iqama.
    • Original & copies of father & mother passport.
    • Original & copies of baby passport.
    • Biometric pictures of the baby.
    • Original & copies of (Hospital) birth certificate & Arabic Birth Certificate.
    • Printout of appointment.
  • Once you are done with the submission of fees & documents at Jawazat. The Jawazat will issue you Iqama of Newborn baby instantly.

Case # 1 – Baby Born outside KSA

If your baby was born in your home country, not in KSA then you have to follow the steps one by one in order to get the Iqama of Newborn baby.

  • Apply for the Passport of Baby as early as possible in your home country.
  • Once you & your baby are in KSA you need to pay 2000 SAR Iqama Fees! If you are late in applying the Iqama of your baby you may get fine of 500 SAR.
  • Now you need to get Jawazat appointment. You can get the Jawazat appointment from the Absher online portal.
